High-capacity light polymerisation unit for up to 4 models and fixator. Its inner dimensions of 170 x 160 x 120 mm (W x D x H) offer enough space for articulated and mounted models. Six fluorescent light tubes (3 UVA and 3 blue light tubes) and an aluminium reflector guarantee homogeneous illumination. Two polymerisation times of 5 and 10 minutes are already pre-set in accordance with the light-curing DURASPLINT® LC material. Continuous operation can also be set. Spectral range of the light curing device between 350 and 450 nm. Auto start function for easier application.

1.) General
The LC-6-Light Oven is a light-polymerisation unit for light-curing resins, equipped with 2 different kind of fluorescent tubes (3 UV-A lamps, 3 blue
light). The wave length range varies between approx. 350 and 450 nm, the maximum being approx. 370 nm (UV-A) and approx. 450 nm (blue light).
2.) Getting Started
Changing the light sources
For safety reasons, lamps are individually packed for transport. Pull out mains plug, pull out drawer completely, unpack the lamps and put them
frontally through the openings in the mirror wall into the bulb fitting, pressing hard. The bulbs will snap in place. You should hear a click. In order to
guarantee a homogeneous illumination, UVA-lamps and blue light tubes should be inserted alternately.
Dismantling the light sources:
Pull out mains plug, pull out drawer completely, let unit cool down, take hold of the lamps at the bulb and draw them out of the fitting with a quick motion. Lamps have to be changed after approx. 1.000 h, however not any later than after 2 years. Replacement lamps are available with your electronic
retail market. Prior to start up, make sure to verify the mains voltage corresponds to the nominal voltage as indicated on the type plate.

3.) Important Hints
Make sure not to look directly at the radiation source (risk of damaging to the eyes). Make sure not to cover the aeration openings. In the continuous
mode (cont.) the machine has to be switched off after curing has been finished. A safety shutdown will run automatically after approx. 30 min.
4.) Operation
Switch on power switch on the machine back, switch flashes green.
Pull out drawer, select illumination time by pressing the timer button on the machine top, i.e. 5 m*, 10 m* or cont. The corresponding LED flashes.
Place light-curing material on the drawer and slide drawer back as far as it will go. The illumination process will start automatically. In case illumination
times of 5 m* or 10 m* have been set, the unit will switch off automatically after the illumination process has elapsed.
In case the continuous operation mode (cont.) has been set, illumination can be switched off by pressing again the timer button. For safety reasons,
after 30 min. illumination will shut down automatically.
Hints:
If the drawer has been pulled out for more than 1 cm during illumination, unit will shut down automatically (to avoid eyes damaging). The previously
adjusted illumination time will be stored after the illumination process has finished. In order to start a new illumination process, the drawer has to
be pulled out for at least 2 cm before being slid back as far as it will go. The illumination time can only be changed with the drawer been pulled out.

5.) Maintenance, cleaning, repair
Outer surfaces can be cleansed with a moist cleansing cloth. Attention: Avoid letting liquids enter the mains socket or the timer button. The inner
reflector surfaces shall only be cleansed with a dry soft cloth. Doing so, pull out mains plug, dismantle lamps and reinstall them after cleaning.
Attention: Avoid letting liquid enter the bulb fittings. Any kind of repair has to be effected by SCHEU-DENTAL or by staff authorised by SCHEU-DENTAL.
6.) Transport, storage, disposal
Transport, storage
Transport and storage up to 6 months is subject to the following conditions:
Temperature: 0°C to 50°C
Relative moisture: 10% to 60%
Apart from this, the parameters of the operating conditions apply.
Temperature: + 10°C to 30°C
Relative moisture: 20% to 60%
Store unit in closed rooms only. Protect machine from moisture and humidity. Make sure not to expose unit to strong shocks.
Disposal:
Disposal has to be effected according to the national legal prescriptions and by authorised disposal company

Water-based, blue transparent gel for insulation when fabricating removable orthodontic appliances on 3D printed models. Optimal insulating effect using IMPRIMO® LC resins and STEADY-RESIN autopolymerisates. Apply a thin layer with appropriate brush and let it dry properly. Not suitable for 3D models generated by a filament printer!

Available as 100 ml pump bottle with brush or as 500 ml refill bottle. Download the STL file to print yourself a rack for both pump bottle and brush.

No hazardous material in terms of transport regulations.

Processing/application:

Once the position for the expansion screw has been marked, mill a recess for the screw spacer. Bend the wire elements. Block out undercuts using thermal wax. Apply the IMPRIMO® Model Separator from the pump bottle, distribute it evenly with the enclosed brush and allow to dry well.
The use of the LC-6 Light Oven is recommended to shorten the drying time. Fix the expansion screw(s) and wire elements as usual with adhesive wax on the dry and insulated resin model. Process resin following the instructions for the orthodontic technique. Once the resin has polymerised, carefully lift the orthodontic plate from the 3D model using a plaster knife. Rinse model and expansion plate under running water.

Remove wax residues using steam jet. Finish and polish the expansion plate conventionally

Depending on the viscosity of the resin to be cleaned, the concentration of the cleaning bath can be diluted with water up to 50%. The concentrated formula is long-lasting and cost effective.

The processing temperature of IMPRIMO® Cleaning Liquid must not exceed 50°C.

The cleaning solution is designed to be used with the IMPRIMO® cleaning unit, although it is compatible with other ultrasonic cleaning units.

If you are using cleaning units from other manufacturers, IMPRIMO® Cleaning Liquid should first be tested on an inconspicuous area of the liquid container.

The concentrated formula is long-lasting and cost effective.

3D Model Insulation is best suited for insulation of acrylate-based printed models. Once the insulation applied, it is possible to manufacture orthodontic plates on the models using cold cure resin like STEADY-RESIN S in the salt and pepper technique.
For an optimum insulation effect resin against resin it is sufficient to apply just one or two layers with the enclosed brush. In order to prevent skin contact we recommend wearing gloves.
The drying time of the 3D model insulation is approx. 30 min.
After polymerisation, the orthodontic plate should be cleaned by steam blasting and in an ultrasonic bath in order to remove any insulation residues.
Use CETRON® spray to make the surface shine.
Important notice: Only for extraoral application.
