SCHEU-DENTAL Soft, pliable material, ideal for fabricating colourful mouthguards and positioners. Does not bond to acrylic.

3mm PK 10

Scheu Dental BIOPLAST® Colour prefect for laminating you colour mouthguards.

Recommend Bioplast Insulating Agent on plaster models for clear appearance.

BIOPLAST® Colour is a high-quality ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)
distinguished by its first-class impact absorption and outstanding
elasticity despite its extremely light weight.
BIOPLAST® sports mouth guards for active sports are custom-made
just for you by dental technicians, who work together with your
dentist. This guarantees that your personal mouth guard will suit
your particular needs for all types of sports.

BIOPLAST® is a soft elastic rubber-like thermoforming material made of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) that does not bond
to acrylic. BIOPLAST® has been tested and approved for its biological safety.
Indication: Duplicating moulds for plaster situation models, mouth guard, bruxism splints, positioner, OSAMU-Retainer®.
Model Preparation: If necessary, block out strong undercuts using BLUE-BLOKKER® before pressurizing. For model insulation we recommend BIOPLAST® insulating agent (REF 3189/3166). Apply one layer of the insulating agent to the model, making sure
to prevent the liquid from accumulating in the cavities as well as from drying out.
Unverträglichkeiten: Bei bekannter Unverträglichkeit gegen Ethylenvinylacetat sollte das Material nicht verwendet werden.
Pressure Moulding: We recommend to place dental arcade models on the model platform and to embed full models in the pellets. Adhesion
of pellets to the model and the resulting loss of pellets can be considerably reduced by using the pellet cover (REF 3006
large/REF 3007 small).
Finishing: You can reduce the splint to its final extension using SD foil scissors A (REF 3460) or B (REF 3461). The BIOPERM
trimmer (REF 3226), DIMO®PRO (REF 3381), DIMO®PRO SLIM (REF 3376) and POLYFIX (REF 3371) are best suited for
finishing. Best polishing results are achieved using the OSAMU polisher (REF 3247) at 5000 – 10000 rpm.
Cleansing/care: Our CETRON® cleansing and care products are the best choice for splints made of BIOPLAST®.
Storage: Protect from sunlight. Store in a dry place.
Safety note: To be used only for the above indication and by qualified personnel. For single use. Serious incidents in connection with the
use of the product must be reported immediately to the manufacturer and the competent authority!

RMO® Yellow Elgiloy® is initially ductile and slightly harder than Blue. Using caution, you can spot-weld and solder to large Yellow Elgiloy wires, .021” x .025”; .030”; .036” (0.533mm x 0.635mm; 0.762mm; 0.914mm), without embrittling them. Some practitioners use Yellow as furnished, but it can be heat-treated if greater resiliency or spring performance is required. After heat-treating, Yellow can be adjusted slightly, but should not be adjusted sharply. It is excellent for flat wire techniques. Yellow Elgiloy is recommended where greater spring qualities are needed, than those provided by Blue Elgiloy.

The Rocky Mountain® Orthodontics (RMO effort began around 1930. Since then, the company has made dramatic advances in the science of orthodontics, establishing itself as one of the leaders of a rapidly evolving field – a field that down through the decades has made people’s lives better. Since its formal incorporation in 1933 as Rocky Mountain Metal Products, RMO® has been known as a company of energy and ideas – traits that remain at the core of the company’s philosophy today.

RMO is much more than a business and model of excellence among Colorado corporations. The company is the oldest privately held orthodontic firm in the United States, and is a Denver institution whose company history is inextricably linked with the history of Denver and orthodontics itself.
