SG3-model

Surgical Guide 3 is the fastest, most durable implant guide material that SprintRay has ever made. Featuring improvements to flexural strength and modulus vs Surgical Guide 2, you can confidently place implants with this FDA compliant, biocompatible resin. Plus, improved printing speeds further reduce time to surgery, improving flexibility and offering a superior patient experience.
By taking advantage of SprintRay Cloud Design and the Pro-Line of 3D printers, you can fabricate surgical guides of all kinds varying from single unit quadrants or full-arch multi-unit implant guides.https://sprintray.com/en-uk/3d-printing-products/sprintray-resins/#tan2

Key Benefits

FLEXURAL STRENGTH
Higher flexural strength ensures that the model doesn’t break during normal use.

SprintRay Surgical Guide 3 105 MPa

SprintRay Surgical Guide 2 88 MPa

FLEXURAL MODULUS
Higher flexural modulus prevents distortion, which can impact accuracy.
SprintRay S G 3  2579 MPa
SprintRay S G 2  2418 MPa

VISCOSITY
Lower viscosity values indicate that the resin is easier to mix.
SprintRay S G 3   343 Centipoise
SprintRay S G 2   700 Centipose

Indications for Use
The SprintRay S G 3 is a light-curable polymerizable resin intended to be used for
fabrication of surgical guides. This material is an alternative to traditional surgical guide
material.

Device Description
Surgical Guide 3 is an alternative to traditional surgical guide making material that is
intended exclusively for professional dental work.

The device is designed in STL file format by a dental design service, preferably SprintRay Cloud
Design, or dental CAD software using digital anatomical data from the patient. This STL file is
delivered to the clinician for fabrication.

Curing
Use one of the following post-curing equipment from SprintRay to cure the device and select the
preprogrammed profile for Surgical Guide 3:
● NanoCure (preprogrammed material profile)
● ProCure 2 (preprogrammed material profile)
● ProCure (20 min at 50o C)
The printed guide may have a yellowish color after post curing. It will turn to clear during
sterilization.https://www.eurodontic.co.uk/eurodontic-events/
