What Is the Nano Series?
The Nano Series is a chairside production workflow built for one-case-at-a-time dentistry. It brings together three new systems — NanoPrint, NanoWash and NanoCure — into a single, intelligently connected print, wash and cure workflow.
Together, NanoPrint, NanoWash and NanoCure fit within 30 in. of counter space, bringing a complete production sequence into a footprint designed for everyday chairside use.
Nano Series supports more than 16 indications and is validated across SprintRay’s restorative materials, bringing professional-grade production capability into a footprint sized for everyday chairside use — without compromising workflow or clinical versatility.
One thing is important to understand from the start: Nano Series isn’t a scaled-down version of SprintRay’s existing production systems. It’s a workflow engineered specifically around single-case chairside production.
Why Nano Series Is Built for Right-Sized Production
Most dental 3D printing workflows are designed around batch production — larger build volumes, multi-case runs, and post-processing steps that assume volume.
That’s not how most chairside cases work.
Nano Series approaches production differently. Rather than asking practices to manage full-scale production equipment for single-unit cases, Nano Series is purpose-built around the reality of one-case-at-a-time dentistry — without asking clinicians to sacrifice the connected, validated workflow they’d expect from a larger system.
Cloud connectivity, along with technologies like AutoPrint and Job Handoff, moves cases seamlessly from print through post-processing, so the case keeps moving even as it changes hands between steps.
The important distinction isn’t simply that Nano Series is smaller. It’s what the smaller footprint is engineered to accomplish once it’s part of a practice’s daily workflow.
What This Means Clinically
A chairside production system needs to do more than fit on a counter.
It needs to move a case through print, wash and cure efficiently without added handling, support the range of indications a practice actually sees day to day, and stay validated against the materials clinicians already trust.
Nano Series was engineered around those realities.
Right-Sized Without Compromise
Supporting more than 16 indications, Nano Series is built to handle the broad range of chairside cases within a compact production footprint.
Connected by Design
AutoPrint and Job Handoff help a case move through the print, wash and cure sequence automatically, reducing the manual handoffs that typically slow chairside workflows down.
Validated Materials
Nano Series is validated across SprintRay’s restorative material lineup, giving practices access to a broad portfolio across the Nano workflow.
Bringing Scanning Into the Workflow: Foundation and ScanOS
Nano Series addresses production. Foundation and ScanOS address what happens before it.
Foundation is the first intraoral scanner built for ScanOS, extending SprintRay’s connected workflow all the way back to the start of the digital case.
ScanOS makes scanning a native part of the SprintRay Workspace environment — alongside Design Suite and Print Setup. Rather than moving between separate scanner software, separate accounts and manual file transfers, clinicians can move a single case through scan, design, print setup and production within one unified cloud connected digital environment.
That matters because the biggest source of friction in digital workflows is rarely any one step. It’s what happens at the seams between steps — the export, the upload, the format conversion, the second login. ScanOS is designed to remove those seams.
From Scan to Delivery, in One Connected System
Despite the range of technology behind these announcements, the clinical workflow is intentionally straightforward.
Scan the case on Foundation. Move it through Design and Print Setup within ScanOS. Produce it chairside on Nano Series, with AutoPrint and Job Handoff carrying the case through print, wash and cure. Then deliver.
The goal is a connected workflow in which clinicians spend less time moving between technologies and more time focused on the case itself.
Right-sized, per Patient.
For ten years, SprintRay has been advancing chairside dental 3D printing. Now, we’ve taken everything we’ve learned and brought it together in a complete, compact workflow designed to make professional 3D printing easier to bring into more practices, in under 76 cm counter space.
- NanoPrint – Right-sized, per patient. Print, wash and cure for single-patient workflows, in the most compact system we have ever built. 40
- NanoWash – Six minutes. Sealed. Bone dry after one wash and dry cycle, right on the build platform.
- NanoCure – The one that started “Nano” – dual-wavelength technology for optimized biocompatibility and mechanical properties, no nitrogen needed.
BLUE-BLOKKER ®https://www.eurodontic.co.uk/product/blue-blokker/
SCHEU-DENTAL Light-curing, blue transparent blocking out and modelling material. For fabrication of space maintainers for bleaching splints and medical trays, and sealing saw cuts in set-up models. Can also be used in prosthetics. Curing in wavelength range of 380-470nm. 4×1.5g.
BLUE-BLOKKER® is applied directly from the dosing syringe and can be easily combined with conventional waxes. Light-hardened BLUE-BLOKKER® outdoor telescopes are stable and can be lifted off without tension. BLUE-BLOKKER® also burns at large layer thicknesses, residue-free. The casting results are absolutely dimensionally stable with excellent fit accuracy.
The thixotropic adjustment of the material as well as the micro- and Mini cannulas facilitate the targeted dosing and application of the
Material. Curing is carried out using commercially available UV lamps in the spectral range of 380-470 nm. Depending on the material order and Lamp type hardens BLUE-BLOKKER® in 10-30 sec.
– Sealing saw cuts and blocking teeth and teeth segments after adjustment in the set-up technique.
– Precise application of the gel reservoir – (depending on the bleaching
system) – in accurately defined thickness for bleaching and fluorisation splints and medical trays.
– Blocking out cervical margins, gaps, and strongly divergent teeth as
well as fixing wire elements when fabricating hard elastic splints.
– Applying BLUE-BLOKKER ® directly out of the dosing tip. BLUEBLOKKER ® can be very well combined with conventional waxes.
Light-cured BLUE-BLOKKER ® outer telescopes will be very stable
and can be removed easily without tension. Even when working with
higher thicknesses, BLUE-BLOKKER ® will burn without residues. The
results will show high dimensional stability and perfect fitting.
– The ideal viscosity and the micro and mini cannula allow precise application of the material. Curing with standard UV light in the spectral
range of 380-470 nm. Depending on material quantity and type of
light, BLUE-BLOKKER ® cures within 10-30 seconds.https://scheu-dental.com/en
